SWAN LAKE

Swan Lake is a ballet masterpiece that tells the story of a prince who falls in love with a beautiful swan princess under a spell. The ballet is renowned for its stunning choreography, intricate set design, and Tchaikovsky’s captivating music. Its themes of love, sacrifice, and redemption continue to resonate with audiences of all ages and backgrounds, making it a timeless classic that has endured for more than a century.

This timeless tale of love and magic will be brought to life by the finest dancers of the Ukrainian National Opera and Ballet Theater. The graceful movements of the dancers will transport audiences to a world of enchantment and wonder.

JOE DOMBROWSKI

Recently named one of Variety Magazine’s top 10 comics to watch, Native Metro Detroiter, Joe Dombrowski took the world by storm in 2017 with a viral April Fools’ Day spelling test prank that landed him multiple appearances on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Don’t get it twisted though! It takes at least 20 years to be an overnight sensation! Joe has been doing stand up comedy since he was eight years old in his third grade talent show. He’s never stopped! Since Joe’s rise to fame, he has been traveling the globe with his stand-up comedy which often highlights his marriage, road to fatherhood, and of course his time as a former elementary school teacher.

Joe has been featured as a headlining act at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, The New York comedy festival and the Netflix Is a Joke Fest. Joe is also the co-host of the wildly successful comedy/game show “My Straight Friends” which runs monthly at the world-famous Comedy Story in Los Angeles, CA and Emerald City Comedy Club in Seattle, WA. When he’s not getting creative on stages and screens, Joe spends his time in Seattle, producing his podcast “Social Studies” with Netflix reality star and teacher, Gaspare Randazzo.

Paranormal researcher, author and podcaster Amy Bruni takes you through an unforgettable evening of ghost stories that originated from real-life murders.

HORSE RACING IN AURORA

Straight out of the gate, watching horse racing at the Bally’s Arapahoe Park honors this ancient sport—one of the oldest in history. Horse racing has remained unchanged since classical antiquity—by adding modern conveniences. Before you take your seat, stop by one of the concession stands. The full-service horse track puts a fresh spin on an old classic.   The minimum age to place a wager is 18, and children ages 17 and under may enter the park for free as long as they are under parental guidance at all times.

An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.

Fun By Day – Families can celebrate the season with playful, harvest-themed attractions designed for little ghouls and goblins. From trick-or-treating and kid-friendly activities to fall-themed adventures, the park is filled with spooktacular fun for all ages before nightfall.

Fright By Night – When the sun goes down, the fear takes over. Haunted houses, terrifying scare zones, sinister live entertainment and your favorite rides in the dark create an atmosphere of nonstop thrills. Beware – scares lurk around every corner, and only the brave will survive the night. Parental discretion is advised after dark as Fright by Night contains scares not recommended for children. Booville and all children’s attractions close nightly at dusk.

BOO AT THE ZOO

This beloved trick-or-treating experience is back and better than ever! This timed, ticketed event is designed to minimize crowds and maximize fun. Enjoy mysterious cryptid creatures, candy stations, seasonal snacks and maximized Halloween fun for little ones and everyone. With nine candy stations, cryptid creatures and costumed characters, animal ambassadors, festive photo ops, and seasonal snacks. Bring your own trick-or-treat bag and decorate it at the cryptid guidebook decorating station! With something magical around every corner, it’s the best place in town to trick-or-treat!

FALL-O-WEEN AT THE MALL

Fall-O-Ween has returned for yet another spooktastic time! Southlands’ annual trick-or-treat event and fall festival warmly invites everyone, from the littlest ghouls to the strongest superheroes, to Main Street and Town Square for the peak of autumnal celebrations. From 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., show off your best costume, bring your biggest bag, and prepare yourself to get a spookily large amount of candy from participating Southlands retailers! Register your furry friend for a Howl-o-ween Dog Costume Contest to compete for this year’s most haunted hound prize to benefit the Aurora Police Foundation. And that’s not all! If you’re looking for the perfect pumpkin for carving, baking, or just displaying; this event will keep you stocked for the season and feeling as sweet as apple pie.

FALL FESTIVAL

This is an event for the littles and parents of littles – with a TRUNK OR TREAT candy collective, face painting and educators with games in their classrooms. You’ll find food trucks galore and information about early education and childcare in Parker.

TRUNK-OR-TREAT AT THE VEHICLE VAULT

Parker families are invited to celebrate Halloween in a one-of-a-kind setting at the first-ever “Trunk or Treat at the Vehicle Vault.” Head to the plaza outside Parker’s rare car museum and you’ll find it filled with decorated trunks, candy, costumes, music, and fun for all ages. Families can also enjoy free admission to the Vehicle Vault Museum during the event, exploring a world-class collection of rare and iconic automobiles.

More than just trick-or-treating, this event highlights the best of Parker’s community spirit — bringing families, local businesses, and nonprofits together in a safe and festive environment. AN EVENING WITH HISS GOLDEN MESSENGER

Hiss Golden Messenger’s MC Taylor is thrilled to bring the first ever symphonic performance of the band’s catalog to Denver for a very special evening with the Colorado Symphony. ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW

Don’t miss the 50th anniversary celebration of The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the PACE Center!Colorado’s Elusive Ingredient presents an immersive interactive shadow cast performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Played in the PACE Center theater and acted out on stage, this is an audience participation movie where viewers are encouraged to dress up and have fun!

In this cult classic story, sweethearts Brad and Janet happen upon an eerie castle after their car breaks down during a rainstorm. The castle is home to the diabolical mad scientist, Dr. Frank-N-Furter, and his gang of henchmen. Once inside, Brad and Janet are swept in a whirlwind of dancing, rock ‘n roll, sex, and the creation of life itself.

Rocky Horror Picture Show traditions like throwing rice and toast and blowing bubbles during the viewing will not be allowed. Instead, throw bags will be available for purchase before the start of the show that include all of the Rocky Horror classic essentials and help support future shadow casting experiences in and around Denver. Rated R – Must be 17+ to attend and proof of age is required.

CARLOS MENCIA

Comedian Carlos Mencia is best known for his raw and unfiltered style of comedy, which he has showcased to great success on comedy stages, and in television shows and movies. 

After finding success on the Los Angeles comedy circuit, Mencia was named International Comedy Grand Champion from Buscando Estrellas (the Latin version of Star Search), eventually landing on shows such as In Living Color, The Arsenio Hall Show, and An Evening at the Improv.

Mencia continued his journey up the comedy ladder by headlining stand-up tours and starring in stand-up TV specials. Comedy Central produced Mencia’s instant hit, MIND OF MENCIA, which propelled Mencia to the comedy elite. 

He has recently gone back to his comedic roots on his No Hate No Fear comedy tour, sharing his newest material with smaller, more intimate audiences. As a comedian who finds the hilarious irony in both the day-to-day and the newsworthy events, Carlos is never lacking in material.

Experience rock ‘n’ roll history live with Classic Albums Live and The Rolling Stones’ masterpiece, Some Girls. Listed in Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and the only Rolling Stones album to be nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards, Some Girls is considered one of the band’s best records. KAYTRANADA WITH JUSTICE

A pair of critically acclaimed electronic acts are sharing the bill at Ball Arena next week.

Kaytranada has been one of the most awarded Canadian electronic acts over the last decade, with a couple of Grammys, several Junos, and a Polaris Prize, among other accolades, for songs like 10%, Caution, and Twin Flame. Meanwhile, Justice was influential through the 2000s and early 2010s before going on hiatus of sorts, with their own collection of awards. The French duo has three Grammys along with several European awards; they have had hits like We Are Your Friends, D.A.N.C.E., and Neverender. Justice ended their hiatus in 2024 with the release of their fourth album, “Hyperdrama.” Kaytranada and Justice will take the stage Saturday.
