FIRST FRIDAYS AT FESTIVAL PARK: SIX MILLION DOLLAR BAND

Downtown Castle Rock closes out its First Fridays summer series with Six Million Dollar Band bringing high-energy covers to Festival Park. The evening kicks off with a free 5K at 5:30 p.m. — no registration required — followed by three hours of live music on the lawn. Bring the family, grab dinner from a nearby restaurant, and enjoy one of the best free nights of the summer.

FITNESS FRIDAYS AT MILLER PARK

The Town of Castle Rock’s free Friday morning fitness series rotates between cardio strength and dance formats like Zumba and Reb3l, so every week brings something a little different. PARKER BREWFEST — 10TH ANNUAL

Parker’s biggest beer celebration hits double digits this year, taking over O’Brien Park with more than 30 Colorado breweries plus mead, wine, and spirits. Your ticket covers unlimited sample-sized pours, a souvenir tasting glass, and live music from Strings and the Box, with Cencalli Taqueria and Mother Cluckers Wings on hand for food. VIP gets you in an hour early with a brewer meet-and-greet and a dedicated lounge. Hosted by the Cherry Creek Valley Rotary Club, which has raised more than $400,000 for local causes since 2015. 21+ only.

21ST ANNUAL REECE’S ROUNDUP 5K & 1-MILE WALK

Lace up for a great cause on the trail system at Philip S. Miller Park. This long-running community race offers both a 5K and a family-friendly 1-mile walk, with proceeds benefiting the Reece Rubino SMA fund. Brought to you by the Run to Change Lives crew behind the July 4th Rock-It Run — expect a well-organized morning and a whole lot of local heart.

HOT RODS IN THE PARK CAR SHOW

Larkspur Community Park fills up with gleaming chrome and classic muscle for this annual car show just a short drive south. FREE YOGA IN THE PARK — HIGHLANDS RANCH

Now in its 18th year, this beloved Saturday morning series brings free outdoor yoga to Civic Green Park courtesy of the Highlands Ranch Metro District and HRCA Fitness.
