A Forse to be Reckoned With!
Looking Glass residents choose to move into this new home community for a variety of reasons from its location in the coveted Parker area with access to a quality school system, to its proximity to recreation options. We spoke to the Grand Prize winner of the 2025 Looking Glass Photo Contest, Cassidy Forse, to find out what brought the Forse family to Looking Glass.

“My husband is a real estate agent, so we weren’t actually really looking, but in the back of our heads, we were keeping our eyes open,” said Cassidy. She and her husband were living in Senderos Creek, just two miles down the road from Looking Glass, when they discovered the new home community springing up south of Stroh Rd. between Chambers and Crowfoot Valley.

“He came across this home, and I was like, ‘There’s no way — the timing is not right.’ But we fell in love with it.”
Cassidy was pregnant with their third baby at the time, and the couple knew they needed more space for their growing family. “We were looking for a home that had five bedrooms and four bathrooms. We do want four kids, so with them all so little and pretty close in age, we wanted their own bedrooms while they’re super young,” she explained.
A Home Design That Checks All the Boxes

The Forses found exactly what they were looking for with a model by Taylor Morrison. “We loved the lot — it’s on a cul-de-sac and backs up to open space. The back of our house faces east, so we see the sunrise every morning. We just absolutely love the backyard of this house,” Cassidy said.
The move happened quickly once they found the right home. “It all worked out pretty perfectly, and the timing ended up working well, too. We moved in three months after that,” she added, “in May 2024.”
A Community Built for Young Families

With a one-year-old, two-year-old, and four-year-old, Cassidy appreciates how well Looking Glass accommodates families with young children. “We go to the park almost daily,” she said. “The huge one has something for everyone, which has been really nice.”

The family’s typical day includes walks to the neighborhood parks and playtime in their cul-de-sac. “Given that it’s Colorado weather, we’re able to walk to a park in the neighborhood most days, which I love — that’s one of our favorite parts of the day,” Cassidy explained. “Usually after dinner, we’ll go outside to the backyard or play in the cul-de-sac.”
Beyond the parks, the Forses were drawn to the idea of additional amenities planned for Looking Glass. “Another thing we fell in love with was the plan for a pool, which looks like it’s coming along pretty nicely now,” Cassidy noted. The community also features pickleball courts, a dog park, and sports fields.
Embracing Downtown Parker

The family has quickly become regulars in what is now the second most populous town in Douglas County. “We love downtown Parker. The kids love the big park there, and we love the restaurants,” Cassidy said with a laugh. “Kilwins is a top request from my toddlers for ice cream, so we are frequent visitors.”
The Forses make a point to attend community events whenever possible. “We try to go to as many events as we can on Main Street. (Before Christmas) Buddy the Elf was there with Santa and a Christmas tree, and the kids had a blast,” she added.
Cassidy, who worked as an event planner at Colorado Golf Club for about 10 years before staying home with her children, brings a creative eye to family life. Her photography skills have become a regular part of documenting their Looking Glass adventure. Her image capturing husband Nathan and one of the kids taking a walk around the neighborhood was a favorite of the judges.
New Community, Fresh Start

For the Forses, Looking Glass represented more than just a bigger house — it offered a fresh start in a vibrant new community. “We love the fact that Looking Glass is a new community. It just feels different,” Cassidy reflected. “We knew we wanted to stay in Parker, and Looking Glass had everything we were looking for.”
With her oldest beginning preschool at a private school about 10 minutes away and plans to explore more of what Parker has to offer — including upcoming shows at the PACE Center — the Forses are settling into life in Looking Glass with enthusiasm for what’s ahead.
