The Elegant Plums is a five-piece group at its core and often expands to as many as 10 members, featuring a three-piece horn section and two back-up singers. Members of the band have a wide range of musical influences resulting in a unique blend of funk, rock and soul and are known for their energetic live performances – from Denver to D.C.! Their fun blend of diverse originals and creative curveball covers turn any normal evening into an “elegant” one!

HENRY CHO EMPTY NEST TOUR

Comedian Henry Cho was inducted as the 229th member of The Grand Ole Opry. This prestigious honor has not been extended to a comedian since 1973.
Henry’s TV credits include appearances on NBC’s The Tonight Show, CBS’s The Late, Late, Show, and NBC’s Young Comedians Special. He served two years as host of NBC’s Friday Night Videos and had many guest roles on various network sitcoms. Henry was co-creator, co- producer and co-writer of “The Henry Cho Show” on GAC.
Known for his clean content, Henry’s one hour Comedy Central Special, What’s That Clickin Noise? was also on Netflix and he can be heard daily on Sirrus, XM, Blue Collar Radio and Pandora.
Some of Henry’s film credits include Universal’s McHale’s Navy with Tom Arnold and David Allen Greer; Say It Isn’t So with Heather Graham and Sally Field; and Material Girls with Hilary Duff and Angelica Houston produced by Madonna. Henry has worked extensively with Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Willie Nelson, Carrie Underwood, Reba and many, others.

RIDE THE CYCLONE THE MUSICAL

TORCH SONG

It’s the hottest place in Parker on a Sunday morning with over 100 vendors selling local produce, meats/dairy, food trucks, artwork, home/body products, and much more! Hosted by The Local Colorado, the Farmers Market in downtown Parker opens on Mother’s Day and runs every Sunday through October.

PAINT AND RECYCLING EVENT

This event is open to everyone, thanks to the Cherry Creek Valley Rotary Club of Parker. Accepted items include: Latex paint (acrylic), Oil paint (alkyd), stains and shellacs, lacquers, sealers, varnishes, urethanes and textured coatings. Must be in 5-gallon or smaller containers. For electronics we will accept anything that plugs-in or runs on batteries. Items NOT accepted are: Aerosol (spray) paint, paint thinner, solvents, cleaning agents, drywall mud, roof tar, hazardous waste, Thermostats, smoke/Co2 detectors and lightbulbs. There will be a $30 fee for TVs and CRT Monitors.

PASSPORT TO CULTURE

Learn about Japanese culture through an interactive and engaging afternoon of performing arts. Featured Colorado-based artists from the Japanese Arts Network (JA-NE) with beats and words from MC 3Two aka Christopher Bennett, taiko drummer Courtney Ozaki, and other special guests sharing traditional Japanese folk music and dance with a cultural mix-tape of multi-disciplinary artforms. SOUTHLANDS WINE WALK

The Southlands wine walk is one of this mall’s premier annual events. Admission includes a commemorative wine glass; 10 1-ounce wine samples from the wine booths, plus beer samples from Bent Barley Brewing Co. You’ll find a great selection of tasty wines (and beer too!) from which to choose, plus enjoy exciting entertainment and exclusive offers from Southlands retailers. Guests must be 21 and have a wristband to purchase alcohol — no exceptions.

2025 PARKER DAYS FESTIVAL

This FREE admission family festival draws crowds from miles around — it’s that much fun! Parker Days features a wide variety of music performances on four stages, shopping at over 200 marketplace booths, food from more than 25 different vendors, beverages, inflatable actives for kids, a free craft area for the littles, bungy jumping, over 50 carnival rides and a jam-packed weekend of family entertainment.

You’ll see handcrafted items from area artisans, food trucks galore, spirits and refreshments, and carnival games, like the Colorado Avalanche Game On Street Hockey with an inflatable rink and an Avalanche shooting target. The Carnival Rides open Thursday, (1:00-10:30 p.m.), but the Parker Days Festival doesn’t open until Friday. Free Parking locations and other details HERE.

AURORA GLOBAL FEST 2025

Aurora is one of the most diverse cities in Colorado and Global Fest is an intentional event allowing the entire city to proudly embrace its global spirit. The attractions at the festival include bounce structures and inflatable soccer skills challenges for kids, more than 20 food trucks featuring the best global cuisine in the city, and more than 30 performances are planned throughout the day. The city will also celebrate the legacy of musical icon Selena as part of this year’s Global Fest featuring Mayra Alejandra paying tribute to the iconic singer. The performance schedule also includes artists, dancers, and musicians from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities.

LINDSEY STERLING AT RED ROCKS

Lindsey Stirling is an American violinist, songwriter and dancer. She presents choreographed violin performances, in live and music videos found on her official YouTube channel, which she created in 2007. Stirling performs a variety of music styles, from classical to pop and rock to electronic dance music. Aside from original work, she covers of works by other musicians such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Antonio Vivaldi and will perform June 16 with the Colorado Symphony Orchesta.

ANDREA BOCELLI WITH THE COLORADO SYMPHONY

Andrea Bocelli is an Italian tenor. He rose to fame in 1994 after winning the newcomers’ section of the 44th Sanremo Music Festival performing “Il mare calmo della sera”. Since 1994, Bocelli has recorded 15 solo studio albums of both pop and classical music, three greatest hits albums, and nine complete operas, selling over 90 million records worldwide. He has had success as a crossover performer, bringing classical music to the top of international pop charts.

ARTS IN THE AFTERNOON

Colorado’s acclaimed Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra will provide live musical accompaniment to the classic Buster Keaton film Sherlock Jr. After failing in his amateur detective work, projectionist Buster Keaton falls asleep and enters his own film, dreaming that he’s a super-sleuth. Mont Alto is a chamber quintet based in Louisville Colorado, known worldwide for its rediscovery and revival of original music from 1920s movie theater libraries.
