THE PAREEKS: Finding Community and Comfort in Looking Glass

Hansraj “Raj” and Neha Pareek moved into the Looking Glass community in 2023 after relocating to Denver in 2019. “We started looking for homes in 2020,” Raj said. “But then prices began to rise, so we took our time. Our main goal was to find something near shopping, in a safe neighborhood with a strong sense of community—somewhere we could truly raise our family.”

Safe, Friendly Parker Community

The couple, whose son is currently in third grade, found everything they were looking for in the new home community of Looking Glass in Parker. “We heard about Looking Glass from friends who already lived in Parker,” Raj recalled. “We ended up being one of the first families to buy a Taylor Morrison home here.”

One of the amenities the Pareeks appreciate most is the abundance of grassy play areas spread throughout the neighborhood. “We’re close to most of the parks, and it feels very safe,” Raj shared. “We often go for walks as a family, and there are always community activities happening in the parks.”

The diversity in the community has also had a meaningful impact. “We’re originally from Jaipur, Rajasthan in India, and it’s nice to see other families here from similar cultural backgrounds,” Raj said. “We celebrate festivals together and the community’s social committee regularly organizes events for residents.”

Another major plus for the Pareeks is the ease of commuting and access to quality education. “It’s pretty convenient to commute to work from here,” Raj added. “And the elementary school in the area is great—it was an important factor for us as parents.”

Supportive Circle of Friends

Having moved in around the same time as many of their neighbors, the Pareeks quickly found a supportive circle of friends. “Everyone here is in the same boat—new to the neighborhood, eager to make friends and build a community,” Raj noted. “There are lots of kids my son’s age on our street. It’s been a wonderful environment for him to grow up in.”

Raj, a computer engineer, and Neha, a QA Engineer, had a clear vision for their dream home. “My wife wanted a bigger kitchen and I wanted a loft and big backyard ,” Raj said. “We chose the Ridgeway model from Taylor Morrison—it offered both and more. Plus, it’s west-facing, so we get beautiful morning sunrises on the patio and calming sunsets on the porch.”

Not Just a Neighborhood

For the Pareeks, Looking Glass isn’t just a neighborhood—it’s a community where their family is thriving. If you’re in search of welcoming qualities that make a community special, Looking Glass might be calling your name! With homes from the $600s built by Dream Finders, Taylor Morrison, D.R.
