The Raydean Acevedo Colorado Ballet Academy presents the full-length ballet, Swan Lake. All students enrolled in Levels 1 through Pre-Professional Division will be performing in May 2025 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. MONTY FRANKLIN

Monty Franklin is an Australian-born stand-up comedian and actor based in Los Angeles. He has toured over 40 states of the U.S., and also tours with Rob Schneider, Joe Rogan and John Cleese.
Monty’s online videos pointing out the ‘perils’ of being an Australian living in America have massed over 1 billion views. He was on episode #1794 of The Joe Rogan Experience and is currently appearing in Real Rob on Netflix, seasons 1 and 2. Monty has had roles on New Girl on FOX and Becoming Bond on Hulu.
Monty is currently set to star in his first feature film that he co-wrote with Rob Schneider and John Cleese, The Great Emu War, filming in Australia in 2024. The film also stars Schneider, Cleese, Rhys Darby and Jim Jefferies.

PARKER WINE WALK

Gather with friends, family, or colleagues and enjoy a beautiful summer evening wandering Downtown Parker, enjoying wine, and visiting local merchants. The fun begins at 4:30. Start at the chamber office where you’ll pick up your wristband, commemorative glass, and map. While you’re there, visit the dozen or so area businesses exhibiting on the Parker Station Plaza and enjoy some live music.
From there, move toward Mainstreet and Pikes Peak Avenue to visit participating merchants. Check out their specials, and maybe even get a jump on your holiday and back-to-school shopping.

THE LORD OF THE RINGS CONCERT

At 52 Marlon Lamont Wayans is an accomplished American actor, comedian, film producer, and screenwriter best recognized for starring in films like G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Scary Movie, and A Haunted House and sitcoms like The Wayans Bros and Marlon. Coming from the Wayans family of entertainers that include a number of directors, screenwriters, comedians, and actors, Marlon started off his on-screen journey with a bit role in the film I’m Gonna Git You Sucka. Over the years, he has collaborated with his brother Shawn Wayans on several comedy film projects. He co-founded the urban comedy digital media company What the Funnywith Randy Adams and created his own sitcom titled Marlon that aired on NBC for two seasons.
